This year Jack Pennington Ltd is celebrating it’s 35th anniversary. Thirty five years is quite an achievement and we are very proud of the business we have developed through the hard work and commitment of all our employees, past and present.
When a vibrant, successful, 55 year old nut and bolt salesman found himself in a dilemma, should he see out his career with the World’s largest manufacturer and distributor of fasteners that offered job security albeit with a tough regime of red tape and tiresome politics or try something different. Fortunately Jack Pennington took the second option and left to set up a small nut and bolt stockists with his son Keith. Over the last thirty five years the company has been transformed, it can now claim to be one of the UK’s largest independent specialist distributors to the building services industry, with an enviable reputation and often considered as a benchmark for its competitors.

Over the past year we’ve made a significant investment in our fabrication facility providing additional space and a substantial increase in capacity. This is to meet the increasing demand for our cutting service and more importantly the increased demand for our pre assembled frames.
Utilising our fleet of over 10 vans and trucks we're able to offer a next day service throughout the North of England from Newcastle to Nottingham, Liverpool to Hull. Because the vans set off early each day they are in a position to deliver most of their loads in a morning, which provides a significant benefit to our customers.
The recent introduction of Cablofil basket tray into our product range enables us to offer our customers one of the worlds leading brands of wire cable tray, available in over 50 countries and with nearly 40 years of industry experience. Jack Pennington Ltd stocks the wire basket tray in 30mm and 54mm deep profiles in all the widths up to 600mm, along with with a comprehensive range of couplers, fixings and accessories enabling quicker installation of the Cablofil basket tray system. Using a set of bolt cutters bends, tees and risers can be formed to the exact measurements simply by cutting and bending the basket and using either Faslocks or fixings kits and couplers depending on radius being created and the width of the tray.
