During these unprecedented times, we wanted to inform you of our position regarding the Covid-19 pandemic. Our main concern is the safety and wellbeing of our staff, customers, suppliers and wider community. To that end we have been following all the government advice, making significant alterations to our operations. A large part of the office based staff are now working from home, with any remaining staff in the office well separated and following all the recommendations from the government and health bodies. All warehouse staff and drivers are exercising social distance and are provided with additional PPE equipment to protect them and others.
A number of our customers are currently working on essential maintenance and/or construction projects for our wonderful hospitals, schools, food process plants, water treatment works etc and we want to reassure them that we intend to continue supporting them with deliveries as long as we are able to. If necessary, we will prioritise deliveries to sites that are considered essential but at the present time able to support all our customers. We are putting in place contingency plans to support these essential sites even if the wider construction sector is told to close.
Due to a large proportion of staff working from home, our ability to answer telephone calls may be limited and we would ask, wherever possible, to contact us via email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. For our existing trade account customers orders can still be placed online (https://order.pennington.co.uk), if you don’t have a login or need a reminder, please email us and we’ll get you setup.
Obviously, this is a very fluid situation and we are monitoring the advice daily, we will put out information on the website and via other channels such as Linked-In if there are any changes to our operations.
Thank you and stay safe!
